A white House official told The Times that the White House is “sick of the noise” about President Donald Trump’s tweets and his administration’s tweets are “a very, very, complicated beast”.
“We are getting really tired of it.
We’ve been listening to this noise for months.
We don’t want to get caught up in it, so we’ve taken some actions to address it,” Deputy Assistant to the President Eric Schultz told reporters on Tuesday.
The White House spokesperson said that the administration has taken several measures to combat the “sensationalist” news media.
“We have had an unprecedented level of media coverage of the President and his staff.
There is no place for sensationalist coverage,” Schultz said.”
But the media has been very selective in their coverage of him and his presidency.
We have taken a number of actions, some of which have been very significant.”
He said that some of the steps the administration is taking to combat this issue include “reducing the number of press briefings that are held in the White Houses residence”.
“I think the President is sick of it,” he said.
Trump’s tweets, which have gone viral across the globe and caused consternation in the United States, have been a cause for great concern to many, including the White Helmets.
White Helmets, a United Nations-organised rescue and recovery service, have described the deaths of civilians in Syria as war crimes, and demanded an investigation into the White house.
