WASHINGTON (AP) A house fell into the fallwater of a nearby creek.
That’s how many residents in West Bends Creek learned the news after the house collapsed.
The home fell into a creek in West Falls Lake, a small lake about 100 miles (160 kilometers) northwest of Seattle, where the water is often muddy and dangerous to fish.
A woman who lives there said she heard the water rushing and then seeing the house in the water and running away.
The man who lives in the house, who couldn’t be identified, said he went into the house to call 911 after he heard a woman yelling and crying and saw blood everywhere.
