Genome Wilder House 2: The First 3D Game of the Century is coming to Steam and Mac, along with a slew of other titles
Genome wilder’s new game, The Second Generation, was first announced back in March, but its availability has yet to be confirmed.
This week, a developer confirmed that it will be launching on Steam and Apple’s MacOS this summer.
“This is the first time we are bringing this amazing game to a wider audience.
We are very excited to be releasing the game to MacOS and Steam, as well as Steam and SteamOS,” Wilder said in a statement.
“The game will also be coming to iOS and Android as well.”
The Second Generation was originally created by Wilder, who said he and his team “created it to be an experimental project.”
Wilder also shared some details about the game’s release, including that the game will be released on PC and Mac simultaneously.
“I’m excited to announce that The Second Gen will be arriving on SteamOS as well,” Wilders post said.
“SteamOS will offer a complete game experience for players to experience in their own homes, allowing them to play at their own pace.
It will be a free and open game for all.”
Wilders first announced the game in a tweet in April.
“My next game, the Second Generation is finally here, I have been working on it for months, and it is finally coming to PC, Mac, Android, iOS, and Android.”
Wilding said the game is still “in development,” but it is “much more than I could have ever imagined.”
The Second is the second-most-played game on Steam’s website, with more than 3.6 million players playing it as of this writing.
Wilders also recently announced that the sequel, Wilder’s Wilder Adventures, will be coming on Steam later this year.
“In 2018, I’m launching Wilder Adventure, a sequel to the critically acclaimed Wilderhouse, and I’m very excited about it,” Wilding wrote in a blog post about the sequel.
“It’s a sequel that will be the first of its kind to reach the Steam platform.
The game will have tons of content and features, including over a dozen new quests, a new, super cool boss, a brand new area, and a whole lot more.”
Wilden said that he plans to “expand the game” with more content as time goes on, and said that the project is “not yet ready to reveal it, but I do have a number of things planned.”
